Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the A&D Abilene Insulation Company website and any work you hire us to do. When you browse the site, call us, send the contact form or approve an estimate, you agree to these terms.

If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or book work with us. You can start from our home page to see what we do, read more about our company, or contact us with any question before you decide.

What we do

A&D Abilene Insulation Company is an insulation contractor in Abilene, TX. We install, top up and remove insulation in attics, walls, crawl spaces and other parts of homes and commercial buildings, and we do air sealing and vapor barrier work.

The descriptions on this site explain our services in general terms. The exact work on your property is whatever your written estimate or agreement says, because every house is different once we're up in the attic or under the floor.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates, and asking for one puts you under no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the visit, such as the size of the space, what's already there and how easy it is to reach.

If we open up the job and find something the estimate couldn't account for, like wet or contaminated old insulation, hidden damage or blocked access, we'll stop and talk with you before doing extra work. Any change to the scope or price needs your approval first.

Prices on an estimate hold for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update them because material costs change.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you, and we'll let you know as soon as we can if weather, material delays or an earlier job pushes it back.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to clear stored items from the attic, crawl space or rooms we need to reach. Some products, spray foam in particular, require you, your family and your pets to stay out for a set time after we finish, and we'll tell you that time before the job so you can plan around it.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (325) 266-6064 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may be responsible for those costs, and your written agreement will spell that out.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit, due dates and accepted payment methods, are listed on your estimate or agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until the account is brought current, and you may be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting what's owed, as Texas law allows.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We're licensed and insured, and satisfaction is guaranteed on every job. If something about our work isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and make it right.

Insulation products carry their own manufacturer warranties, and we pass those along to you. Apart from our satisfaction guarantee and any written warranty in your agreement, we don't make other promises, express or implied, to the extent the law allows.

We can't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a specific indoor temperature, because those depend on your heating and cooling equipment, your windows and doors, how you use your home and the weather. Our guarantee also doesn't cover damage caused by later work by others, roof or plumbing leaks, pests, or changes made to the area after we leave.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room, lost income or higher energy costs.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that Texas law doesn't allow us to limit.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and is meant to help you understand insulation work, not to replace an on-site look at your home. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't guarantee that every page is complete or current.

The content, photos and logo on this site belong to A&D Abilene Insulation Company and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with anything, please call us or use our contact page first. Most problems get solved with a conversation and a return visit, and we'll work with you in good faith to sort it out.

If we can't resolve it that way, any legal claim will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Abilene, Texas.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its rules about which state's law applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't affect a written agreement you've already signed with us unless you agree to them.

If you have a question about these terms, call us at (325) 266-6064 or reach us through our contact page.
